QUAD-TEX

A collaboration between Teijin and Naish, Quad-Tex continues its reign as the strongest, most responsive kite canopy material on the market. Taking a “strength-first” approach, Quad-Tex is constructed with a matrix of 4x-reinforced ripstop, which is balanced for the optimal strength-to-weight ratio for heavy-duty rip protection. Quad-Tex continues to outperform leading canopy materials, testing over 30% stronger with the least elongation and stretch. The result is a more rigid, responsive kite that you can count on, day in and day out.

PIVOT: FREERIDE/WAVE

Sizes: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14

Predictable power development, direct bar feel, intuitive steering and plenty of “sheet-in-and-go” are just a few characteristics that make the Pivot one of the most sought-after kites on the market. Adapting to a wide variety of wind and wave conditions, this kite features a medium aspect ratio for substantial low-end power, easy jumping and great upwind performance. Dynamic and responsive, it pivots quickly and easily on a small axis of rotation—with minimal power increase through turns—for super-smooth carving through waves and enhanced control going into and out of kiteloops.

The Pivot continues its subtle evolution with more technical changes to improve a better profile of the kite making the Pivot more balanced, reliable and predictable. By incorporating the Shark Teeth feature on the trailing edge, the Pivot an even, aerodynamic profile. This makes the Pivot lighter while keeping it forgiving, with outstanding low end power and direct bar feel.

Easy-handling, well-rounded and incredibly versatile, it’s clear to see how the Pivot has become the all-around choice for everyone, everywhere.

SLASH: PURE WAVE/STRAPLESS

Sizes: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

This ever-popular, pure wave/strapless kite has undergone some revisions for 2018 for improved all-around performance. While still maintaining its outstanding drift and consistent pull, the leading edge is now a little smaller and changing the wing tip by adding taper to make it turn even faster, an important characteristic when making quick reactions in the waves. This gives the kite a better torque transfer from the tip to the leading edge.

Constructed with Quad-Tex, the Slash also comes with our Shark Teeth feature keeping the profile of the kite even all the way to the trailing edge, making it lighter and more balanced. The Slash now comes in a 11m and 12m so you are able to ride in lighter winds working on and perfecting your strapless airs.
