Congratulations to the first of four teams attempting Elbrus this summer. 10 members of the first group summited earlier this week with leader, Neal Short – see below. We also have a team, led by Robert Mads Anderson, travelling to Peak Lenin this coming weekend, so look out for news from them. Elsewhere this summer, we have teams climbing and trekking in Greenland, Norway, Ecuador, Bolivia, Tanzania and India, plus a team attempting Carstensz Pyramid with expedition leader, David Hamilton.

The big news from Ecuador is our Climbing for my Donor team of heart and lung transplant recipients were successful in summiting Illiniza Norte, with one member also reaching the summit of Cayambe (5,790m) in very tough weather conditions. An incredible achievement!

Our summer Alpine programme includes both ‘instructional’ and ‘mountaineering’ courses, to suit all levels of Alpinists, from complete beginners to those aiming to lead Alpine Grades AD and above.
